Kite Flight
It is time again for our annual Kite Flight reading contest. We will be partnering with the Lion's Club again this year for this fun event. Your child will receive a reading chart by Jan. 30th, and must read the required number of hours for the duration of the event. At the conclusion of the event there will be the actual Kite Flight on April 30th from 10:00 to 3:00 at Park Discovery. The kids will need to bring their completed reading chart in order to get their free kite. Please help us with your participation in this fun event. Last year without our schools participation and the generous donation from this event we would not have been able to get our new playground. We look forward to another successful event!

I talked to a few parents that did not even know about it last year, maybe every week the teachers or someone can remind the kids about it at school, it might help get the kids excited about it . Just an ideas if they have not be thought of all ready. And I will keep talking to parents about it....-megan
