School Spirit Day on Friday

We have begun our school spirit days on Fridays.  All students are encouraged to wear a school shirt (sold by PTA) or school colors on that day.  Our school colors are navy blue, white, and silver. The class with the most kids wearing school colors wins a prize each Friday.  Kids get extra points for wearing school colors on top AND bottom!  Remember, the pants, shirt, etc must be ALMOST ALL school colors to count.

Walk A Thon

North Elementary PTA will be holding it's first annual Walk-a-thon to raise money for more technology in our school.  Starting on Thursday, September 5th, students will be asking friends and relatives to donate by the lap (or give a flat donation).  On Thursday, September 12th our students will be walking/running around a track set up on our south playground to see how many laps they can finish in 20 minutes.  Our hope is to make this our only large fundraiser of the year!  Parents are also asked to contact the school if they would like to help run this fun event. In addition, we will soon be starting up our after-school clubs.  We will be having an "Club Carnival" open house for any and all students in grades 3-5 and their parents who would like to come see what we do in our clubs on Wednesday, September 25th, from 1:45 to 3:15.  Parents and students from other schools are welcome!  More information will be forthcomin
